Description

*This opening is contingent upon contract award in direct support of a contract at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) located in Baltimore, MD.

SoftDev is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as a Quality Assurance Manager supporting a contingent contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in a Quality Assurance responsibilities through organizing, planning and managing software quality assurance processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and establishes a process for evaluating software and associated documentation
  • Determines the resources required for IT quality control
  • Maintains the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle
  • Develops software quality assurance plans
  • Conducts formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle
  • Ensure all contract requirements for product delivery is addressed with Quality Assurance sign-off before delivery
  • Leads the Quality Assurance team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience with software quality assurance processes
  • Understanding of CMMI ML3 processes preferred
  • Experience with the CMS Accountable Care Organization - Operational System (ACO-OS) preferred
  • Professional certification for Quality preferred
  • Strong analytic skills with practical knowledge of how to identify key performance quality metrics to set targets for maintaining a state of compliance while identifying areas for improvement
  • Experience with CMS XLC processes a plus
  • Demonstrated skill in the management and control of schedule and resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • CMS Federal government agency work experience is desired
  • Preference for experience in multiple types of environments including waterfall and Agile
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
