Position Overview:
SoftDev is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Program Director to lead the management and execution of a critical Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contract. The Senior Program Director will serve as the primary liaison between CMS and SoftDev, ensuring seamless communication, efficient program execution, and achievement of the contract’s objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of federal healthcare policies, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Oversight:
  • Coordinate and manage all work performed under the CMS contract, ensuring alignment with the expected objectives and outcomes.
  • Oversee all phases of performance, including contract management, resource allocation, and deliverable quality.
  • Maintain direct accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CMS, facilitating effective communication between the client and SoftDev’s team.
  • Advise CMS on potential challenges or difficulties arising during contract administration, proposing solutions to address them.
  • Represent SoftDev in meetings and communications with CMS and other stakeholders.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver project goals on time and within budget.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure team alignment with contract objectives and CMS requirements.
• Compliance and Expertise:
  • Ensure compliance with federal healthcare policies, including the Inflation Reduction Act, federal prescription drug programs, and Medicare Part B/Part D regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of drug pricing, pharmaceutical supply chains, pharmaceutical negotiations, and best practices in program monitoring, oversight, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing large-scale, same/similar projects in federal healthcare or a related field.
• Proven expertise in federal healthcare policies, particularly in areas related to drug pricing, pharmaceutical supply chains, and Medicare benefits (Part B/Part D).
• Demonstrated experience with the regulatory requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act and federal prescription drug programs.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
