Description
SoftDev is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Product Owner Analyst (POA).  The Product Owner Analyst shall be responsible for actively managing the user stories backlog grooming process, organizing and facilitating Product Owner activities, coordinating information gathering and sharing between product management, the development team, and external stakeholders. The POA shall apply program and systems expertise to identify program pain points and provide recommendations for backlog prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.  The Analyst supports both the Product Owners, and the scrum teams by organizing and facilitating team collaboration and the PO decision-making process.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Report to the Senior Project Manager
  • Administratively manage the process of product backlog items being added to the backlog, analyzed for ranking, ranked, and assigned to product increments
  • Collaborate and provide consultation to Product Owners to identify and address critical program and/or product needs
  • Provide assistance to development teams by facilitating discussions with Product Management to clarify or adjust user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and socialize programmatic information radiators such as the programmatic strategic roadmap, as well as associated product road maps
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to communicate with Product Owners and development teams to solve any requirements issues, assist with user story definition, and ensure alignment with program established product goals, and development timelines
  • Facilitate meetings such as the Product Owner Sync (PO Sync), Release Planning, and Product Increment Planning to support driving the program towards overall strategic objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working in an IT environment as a requirements/business analyst
  • Experience or understanding of a variety of requirements elicitation and management techniques
  • Experience or understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) preferred
  • Experience or understanding of Agile methodology preferred
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented
  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) work experience is desired
  • Experience or understanding of Health IT, and/or Health Care Quality Programs desired
  • Experience using Atlassian Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communications abilities
  • Understanding/interest in the healthcare/IT fields is preferred
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
