The Senior Management Analyst is responsible for supporting organizational studies, evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives across complex Federal programs. This role provides high-level analytical, programmatic, and strategic support, including data analysis, project implementation, executive-level reporting, and the development of operational strategies that drive efficiency and effectiveness. This contract serves the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to provide program management, business transformation and data analysis expertise.
The Senior Management Analyst works closely with program leadership to design, evaluate, and implement initiatives that strengthen mission outcomes and ensure compliance with federal standards. This position requires strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver professional, high-quality work products under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in the design, planning, and execution of organizational studies, evaluations, and performance reviews.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret program and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement projects and programs to improve efficiency, performance, and service delivery.
- Prepare executive-level reports, briefings, and presentations to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Draft and update operations and procedures documentation to improve management effectiveness and program efficiency.
- Provide subject matter expertise in program analysis, management consulting, and performance optimization.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Deliver professional, high-quality work products that meet or exceed client expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years specialized experience or 10 years of general office-setting experience.
- At least 3 years of program management experience, including oversight of deliverables and resources.
- At least 2 years specialized experience in supporting complex business functions or activities and producing high-level deliverables.
- Experience at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection a plus.
- Strong experience with organizational analysis, performance improvement, and strategic planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level reports.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in high-pressure environments.
