The Tech Lead has a unique opportunity of getting in on the ground floor of SoftDev, as we are reimagining our development team and tools internally, and we are looking for the right people to help us take our mission to the next level!
Qualifications
Proven extensive technical programming experience, including the following:
Proven extensive technical programming experience, including the following:
- 5 years developing systems containing multiple technologies
- 1-2 years developing cloud native applications (AWS preferable), with serverless experience
- Mastery of one programming language, with experience in Python, JavaScript/Node, HTML & CSS
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and document databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc)
- Proficient in Bash and Git, with experience in Docker. Must be adept at the command line.
- Ability to work in all areas of the stack, including Frontend, Backend and DevOps, with experience building websites and APIs
- Experience in Agile approaches and frameworks
- Ability to communicate well, to be respectful of others, and to take initiative
- Ability to lead a team, to collaborate with company leadership, to provide clear objectives for a project, and to mentor younger developers
- Preferred US Citizen or Green Card holder
