Position Overview:
SoftDev is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide executive direction and oversee the day-to-day operations of a critical Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) task order. This role will manage the lifecycle of work completed across multiple tasks, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with program goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a commitment to quality assurance, and experience managing complex government or healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executive Direction and Oversight:
  • Provide executive-level leadership, ensuring continuity and alignment with project objectives across all task areas.
  • Plan, supervise, and manage the daily operations of the task order to ensure effective and efficient execution.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Program Director to identify and mitigate project risks, address challenges, and allocate resources as needed.
• Progress Reporting and Accountability:
  • Deliver detailed progress reports to the Senior Program Director and CMS, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Monitor project performance metrics to ensure objectives are being met and recommend adjustments where necessary.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and implement QA frameworks to ensure program activities, such as data collection, audits, and investigations, meet rigorous quality standards.
  • Review and validate program deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of QA processes through regular reviews, feedback loops, and performance evaluations.
• Collaboration and Process Improvement:
  • Work closely with the Senior Program Director to identify opportunities for process improvement and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Foster collaboration across project teams to enhance efficiency and achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing teams and schedules for complex government contracts or healthcare programs.
• Strong knowledge of federal contract requirements and the ability to provide executive direction for achieving contract objectives.
• Demonstrated experience with data-driven project execution, including quantitative analysis and qualitative audits.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
